Andreas Charalambous, MSc

Andreas is a Health Economics Analyst. He joined Symmetron following the completion of an MSc in Health Economics and Decision Modelling from the University of Sheffield. During his MSc he undertook a summer placement at Costello Medical where he constructed a de novo cost-effectiveness model comparing multiple gene therapies within the Friedreich’s ataxia disease area. He also has experience in programming with a keen interest in RStudio and Winbugs.

Andreas also holds a degree in Biomedical Sciences (BSc) from the University of Sheffield. Here he gained a broad understanding of modern science, ranging from molecular biology to disease prevention. He also has a particular interest in human anatomy and muscular function, executing systematic reviews within the field of rotator cuff tendinopathies.
