Julius Carpenter, BSc

Julius started work as a Project Assistant for Symmetron in October 2022. He graduated from the University of Bristol with First-Class Honours in Biomedical Sciences, where he developed a strong understanding of the biochemistry and pharmacology of the nervous system. His dissertation centred around the early stages of development of a therapeutic capable of interrupting the collagen secretion pathway to combat fibrosis. This project honed his research, analytical and academic writing skills. Julius has a keen interest in drug research and development within the central nervous system.
