Milan Singh, BSc

Milan joined Symmetron as a Communication Officer in September 2022. She’s currently completing her Master’s in Chemistry with Biomedicine at King’s College London. Her passion for marketing & science communication arose upon co-founding The Catalyst, a student-led Chemistry Magazine, where she had the opportunity to dive deep into the world of scientific graphic editing.

Her interest for therapeutic biotechnologies, applied biochemistry and healthcare were developed primarily during her third year at university, when she conducted a literature review on iron uptake in the microbiome and its effect on human pathophysiology. Additionally, during the 2021 iGEM competition, she worked on a hypothetical spinal cord injury treatment as part of the KCL team. The project led the group to win five nominations and prize for best presentation out of 352 international universities.
