Sarah Pogrund, MSc

Sarah joins Symmetron having completed her MSc in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford. As a project assistant, Sarah is excited to apply and extend her economics background into the world of health economics and outcomes research.  Sarah also holds a BCom (Hons) in Economics as well as a bachelor’s degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) – both from the University of Cape Town. Her research interests, centred around public health and government interventions, carried over into her previous work as a research assistant for the Research Unit on the Economics of Excisable Products  (REEP) in South Africa. Sarah is a curious and keen team member, who enjoys assisting people and utilising her multi-disciplinary quantitative and qualitative skillset.
