Fatima Salih, MSc

Fatima is a Health Economics and Outcomes Research Project Manager. She enjoys managing projects and supporting clients and colleagues in the health economics and health outcomes teams to deliver projects of the highest standard. Before joining Symmetron in 2019, Fatima worked as a health economist at the BMJ Technology Assessment Group for 5 years. She was responsible for the critical review of health economics evidence submitted by pharmaceutical and medical device companies to NICE and producing health technology assessment reports. Within that role, Fatima also carried out de novo health economics and outcomes research for NICE and the National Institute of Health Research. Fatima’s HTA research experience spans a range of disease areas including renal cell carcinoma, cardiac pacemakers, fibrin sealants, basal cell carcinoma, treatment-resistant anxiety and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Fatima has also held various research roles in global and public health in the past, both in the UK and in Sudan. Fatima completed an MSc in Public Health/Health Economics at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2013 and holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Medical Sciences and Technology in Sudan.
