Vicki Pollit, MSc
As an Associate Director, Vicki is passionate about the scoping and production of high-quality health economics deliverables. Vicki enjoys exploring clients’ needs to tailor solutions for complex or unusual problems. Vicki brings experience in the application of different modelling techniques; from decision trees and Markov modelling to complex care pathway simulations. Her research has covered many diagnostic and therapy areas including pulmonary, cardiovascular, oncology, gastro-enterology, renal, as well as acute medical and trauma services research.
Prior to joining Symmetron, Vicki worked as a senior research consultant at York Health Economics Consortium (YHEC) leading on economic deliverables, alongside working in the role of a health technology assessment analyst at NICE. Vicki also worked for six years at a national collaborating centre for NICE leading the economic component for a range of clinical and service delivery guidelines. Vicki achieved an MSc (merit) in Health Policy, Planning and Financing, from the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
